How to Raise a Complaint
Last updated: October 2026
We want every homeowner who reaches Secondsproperly Pest Control to be treated fairly and honestly. If something went wrong, please tell us. This page shows how to file a complaint and what happens after. It is a general template. It is not legal advice.
What You Can Tell Us About
You are welcome to contact us about:
- Your experience when you called or contacted Secondsproperly Pest Control
- The way your personal information was handled
- Anything on this website that seems unclear or wrong
- The conduct of a provider we connected you with
If the Problem Is a Provider
Providers in our network are independent businesses. Each one answers for its own estimates, pricing, products, work, and customer service. If you have trouble with work done in your home, the usual first step is to raise it with the provider directly. Keep a written record as you go.
Still, we want to hear about it. Feedback helps us keep our network honest, and providers who repeatedly fall short of what we expect may be removed. Please know that Secondsproperly Pest Control cannot settle contract disputes, issue refunds for a provider's work, or make decisions for a provider.
If your worry is about how a pesticide was applied, you may also contact the agency that regulates pest control in Illinois.
Sending Your Complaint
Email contact@secondsproperly.garden and include:
- Your name and how to reach you
- The date you contacted us or the provider
- The phone number you called or the form you used, if you remember
- The provider's name, if you know it
- A clear account of what happened and what you hope we can do
After You Write
We will confirm we received your complaint by email, usually within a few business days. Then we will look into what happened. That may include reaching out to the provider. After that, we will reply with what we found and any steps we are taking.
Still Not Happy?
If our answer does not satisfy you, reply and ask us to look again. You can also contact your state's consumer protection office or attorney general, or your local Better Business Bureau.
